Welcome to the first week of our Winter Wellness series! Read on to explore the most efficient way to fuel your body during these colder months, we'll be discussing which specific nutrients to focus on when it comes to food, hot drinks and supplements.
Winter is a season for rest, recovery and building our energy for the Spring. To do this, it is crucial we learn to eat in alignment with the seasonal changes - to tune in to our inherent intuition and knowing which guides us to those warming foods which sustain us through the colder months. But where do we start?
Winter is a time to slow down. Accept that your body is changing with the seasons and it's only natural to crave comforting foods - play around with your favourite go to comfort food and switch it up for a whole food alternative. Look into some supplements to give your immune system and energy levels an extra boost throughout the next few months. Most importantly, always always always listen to what you need today and treat yourself with that joyful kindness we so often reserve for others.
