Learning to meditate has never been so popular. On these day events we will introduce you to ancient meditation techniques from the Buddhist tradition in a way that makes sense in these modern times. It is sometimes said meditation ‘can’t be taught it must be caught’. Catching what meditation is all about is made easy with good teachers, and our teachers all have years of experience - with their own practice and with teaching - to help you find your way in to a greater sense of peace and well-being. Awareness and love are the two great themes that we explore through meditation, helping us to live a more fulfilling and satisfying life. On this one day course we will introduce the Mindfulness of Breathing and Loving Kindness Meditation practices, which can help us develop more calm, clarity and self awareness as well as emotional qualities such as warmth, care, and contentment. No prior experience is required.
