Wendy Burns Master Level Usui Reiki Healing
Japanese for universal life energy, Usui Reiki is a hands-on healing practice that can enhance health and wellbeing on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level by allowing the energy to flow through the therapist hands to the client. While the client remains fully clothed and warm throughout the treatment, healing is believed to direct itself naturally to wherever it is most needed.

Wendy Burns became aware of her healing abilities at 7 years old and over the years has continued to study how the mind and body work together and how our emotional state has a fundamental impact on our health and wellbeing.
Travelling to Thailand, Guatemala, Mexico and Australia to further develop her skills in healing and massage, Wendy gained her qualifications with Demi International Academy in Queensland. In the UK she later went on to gain her Masters level in Usui Reiki Healing and is a qualified Reiki teacher. In 2012 Wendy started her own wellbeing business in the Lake District. Her work eventually gained her a contract with the NHS, based on the positive effects on pain reduction and overall wellbeing of her clients All of her treatments are focused around the individual needs of the client with an emphasis on aftercare. |
